Pebble Beach - Vintage Poster

Size:12x18
Frame:Black Premium Metal
Regular price$119.99 Sale price$95.99

Pebble Beach Golf Links opened in 1919 on California's Monterey Peninsula, built as the centerpiece of Samuel F.B. Morse's Del Monte Forest development. Morse turned to two amateur golfers, Jack Neville and Douglas Grant, neither of whom had designed a course before, and asked them to route as many holes as possible along the coastline. The course has since hosted six U.S. Opens, including Jack Nicklaus in 1972 and Tiger Woods in 2000, who won by a record 15 strokes.

This print channels the golden age of golf travel posters, with a faceted, cut paper style golfer in a mustard coat caught mid swing beneath an overhanging tree, the blue Pacific and a green fairway stretching out behind. The bold blocky lettering below names the course and its home on the Monterey Peninsula.
