During the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, illustrated lithographic posters became one of the defining forms of commercial advertising throughout Europe. This re-creation of an early twentieth-century English advertising poster has been reimagined for Lord's, drawing upon the visual language of historic British commercial illustration while incorporating the restaurant's Greenwich Village façade. Inspired by the tradition of the English public house, Lord's brings classic British cookery to New York through its seasonal menu and classic English food.
